Known issues on the 2012 IS 350. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. One covers the wipers: inoperative wipers could reduce driver visibility and increase the risk of a vehicle crash. The other two both concern the frontal passenger-side air bag inflator module — in one, an inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants; in the other, an inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants.
