2010 Cadillac DTS Service and Repair Manual
This 2010 Cadillac DTS factory service and repair manual is built around the exact engine and trim combination on your build sheet, so the specifications, wiring routes and torque values inside are the ones Cadillac published for that configuration rather than a generic stand-in from another DTS year.

Known issues on the 2010 DTS. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the ignition: a key knocked out of the run position by a heavy key ring can cut engine power, power steering and power braking, and can also keep the air bags from deploying in a crash. The second covers the V8's starter or alternator cable, which can rub against the power steering return line, wear through it, and cause a fluid leak that either strips power steering assist or drips onto hot engine parts and starts a fire. The third is a labeling recall: affected DTS sedans left the factory without the required tire and loading information label, leaving owners without the data needed to keep tires properly inflated. Owners have filed 22 complaints for the year. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are here.
From tracing a power steering fluid leak on the V8 to a key-cylinder inspection or a routine service interval, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2010 DTS.
