Known issues on the 2007 DTS. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the ignition system: the weight of a loaded key ring can knock the key out of the run position, which can prevent the air bags from deploying in a crash and can also cut engine power, power steering, and power braking mid-drive. The second covers a short circuit on the printed circuit board of the heated washer fluid system, which can cause other electrical features to malfunction, produce an odor, or generate smoke and increase fire risk. The third is a second recall on that same heated washer module, where the module can ignite and cause a fire.
