2004 Isuzu Rodeo Service and Repair Manual

The four-cylinder was gone for 2004, the Rodeo's final US year, leaving a single S trim with a 205-hp 3.2L DOHC V6 or a new 250-hp 3.5L direct-injection V6. Known issues on the 2004 Rodeo. Two recalls are on federal record: fuel pump feed ports that can develop pinholes after exposure to silicon-contaminated fuel sold around Tyler, Texas, a fire risk (05V466000); and corrosion in salt-belt states at the forward mounting bracket for the rear suspension lower link, which can detach from the frame (13V547000). NHTSA also holds 39 owner complaints, most often citing suspension, fuel system and service brakes.
