2002 Isuzu Rodeo Service and Repair Manual

Little changed on the 2002 Rodeo, which again offered S, S V6, LS and LSE trims on the four-door SUV body. The base S used the 2.2L DOHC four-cylinder and the rest the 3.2L DOHC V6. The Axiom launched alongside it on a related platform that year, but the two do not share every specification or engine. Known issues on the 2002 Rodeo. Two recalls are on federal record: fuel pump feed ports that can develop pinholes after exposure to silicon-contaminated fuel sold around Tyler, Texas, a fire risk (05V466000); and corrosion in salt-belt states at the forward mounting bracket for the rear suspension lower link, which can detach from the frame (10V436000). NHTSA also holds 101 owner complaints, most often citing body structure, service brakes and powertrain.
