1991 Isuzu Rodeo Service and Repair Manual

Isuzu launched the Rodeo for 1991 as a four-door midsize SUV aimed squarely at American buyers, sold in S, XS and LS trims. Power came from a 2.6L SOHC four-cylinder or a GM-sourced 3.1L OHV V6, two engines from different makers with entirely different service specifications. As the first model year, it also carries its own wiring and trim details. Known issues on the 1991 Rodeo. Two recalls are on federal record: automatic transmission dipsticks that read low, prompting overfilling that can push fluid onto the exhaust manifold (91V118000); and aftermarket AJ Motorsport replacement combination lamps lacking amber side reflectors (06E065000). NHTSA also holds 58 owner complaints, most often citing powertrain, engine and cooling and service brakes.
