The first concerns the headlights: certain passenger vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, which governs lamps, reflective devices and associated equipment. The second concerns the hydraulic brake master cylinder, where the recess at the end of the cylinder body retains a rubber seal ring that may corrode because of an improper washing process; in that condition brake fluid may leak from the seal. Owners have filed 130 complaints against this model year, and 73 technical service bulletins have been issued for it.
