Known issues on the 1999 C3500. Owners logged four complaints against the 1999 truck, spread thinly: one on the service brakes, one on the electrical system and one on the fuel system. Small numbers, but they point at three areas a heavy-duty pickup is usually asked about, and each has a full section here. Brake hydraulics, proportioning and adjustment are specified; the electrical chapters carry wiring diagrams, connector views and circuit diagnosis; and fuel coverage runs from tank and lines through injection on the diesel and the dual-fuel arrangement on the 5.7-liter.
