1996 Geo Prizm Service and Repair Manual

Retuned for 1996, the Prizm's optional 1.8L DOHC four-cylinder gave up 10 horsepower but gained torque, a change that shows up in the engine data you work from. The Geo sedan was again offered as Base or LSi, with the 1.6L DOHC four-cylinder standard and the 1.8L available on the LSi. Known issues on the 1996 Prizm. One recall is on federal record: an equipment recall (10E002000) covering Gabriel and ArvinMeritor replacement front strut mounts built without the weld between bearing housing and rate plate.
