1992 Geo Prizm Service and Repair Manual

Last of the first-generation Prizms, the 1992 model was sold as a four-door sedan only after the hatchback disappeared. Base, LSi and GSi trims remained, with the 1.6L DOHC 4A-FE in Base and LSi and the 130-hp 4A-GE twin-cam, sport suspension and 14-inch wheels in the GSi during its final season. Because the GSi's brakes and engine differ from the other trims, this service and repair manual gives 1992-specific procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams, diagnostics and maintenance schedules for every version.

Known issues on the 1992 Prizm. One recall is on federal record: an equipment recall (10E002000) covering Gabriel and ArvinMeritor replacement front strut mounts built without the weld between bearing housing and rate plate.
