Toyota offered the 1995 T100 with two very different powerplants, and this factory service and repair manual is tied to the exact year, engine and trim of the truck in front of you, whether that is the 2.7L four (3RZ-FE) or the 3.4L V6 (5VZ-FE), so the clearances, torque values and service sequences you work from are the ones Toyota published for that combination rather than figures carried over from an adjacent model year.

Known issues on the 1995 T100. One recall is on federal record for this model year, and it covers the steering linkage relay rod. The record describes certain pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles in which the steering wheel is repeatedly turned under conditions that require high steering effort and power assist, and warns that if the vehicle continues to be operated in that condition the relay rod may fracture. Owners have filed 90 complaints for the year and Toyota has issued 16 technical service bulletins.
Inspecting the steering relay rod and its linkage, tracing a fault on the 2.7L four, or working through a scheduled service on an SR5, each job stays on Toyota's own procedure and the figure specified for a 1995 T100.
