1993 Saab 9000 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 1993 Saab 9000 spans nine trims, from Aero to CSE Turbo, in which the CD, CDE, CS and CSE names each also appear in Turbo form. Both the 4-door sedan and 4-door hatchback are included. Known issues on the 1993 9000. NHTSA lists 5 recalls against the 1993 9000. One covered 9,747 vehicles: on certain 1993 9000 cars the brake light switch could stick on or off, because an oval piston could jam or a mounting tab was not engaged, misleading following drivers; dealers inspected the switches and, where needed, replaced them. Another addressed certain cars whose fuel filler and tank vent hoses could crack beneath their clamps and leak fuel; new hoses and shielded clamps went on. A third, on certain cars, dealt with moisture that could corrode the air bag control module. Of 29 owner complaints, 9 concern the power train; 1 complaint reported a crash, 1 a fire and 1 an injury.
