1992 Saab 9000 Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 1992 9000. Four recalls on the federal record name the 1992 9000. In certain 1992 9000 cars, moisture could reach the air bag control module and corrode its circuit boards, risking an unintended deployment; dealers inspected the module and covered it or, where moisture was found, replaced it. Certain cars equipped with the Mk II anti-lock brake system could suffer a corroded pressure switch connector, which might light the warning lamps or cut hydraulic power assist. On certain cars equipped with engine oil coolers, a minor frontal impact could break the cooler hose and spill oil onto hot exhaust parts, where it could ignite.
