This factory service and repair manual for the 1993 Dodge Stealth is for the two-door hatchback in Base, ES, R/T or R/T Turbo form. Displacement never changes, since the three engines share 3.0L and gasoline. What separates them is the valvetrain and induction, as the data lists a naturally aspirated SOHC unit, a naturally aspirated DOHC unit and a turbocharged DOHC unit. The manual's procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics address the engine, fuel system, ignition, cooling, transmission, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, steering and electrical system.

Known issues on the 1993 Stealth. The federal record carries 2 recalls for the 1993 Stealth. On certain 1993 Stealth vehicles, a front brake hose on the wheel side could split when the steering sat at full lock and the suspension at full travel, letting fluid escape and reducing braking; dealers installed revised hoses. Certain all-wheel-drive cars could also lose oil from the transfer case, and too little oil could ruin the bearings and seize the driveline. Owners filed 39 complaints, with the power train at 19, hydraulic brakes 4, electrical system 3, and gasoline fuel system and seat belts at 2 each; 3 reported a crash, 1 a fire and 2 an injury.
