Known issues on the 1991 Stealth. Four recall campaigns name the 1991 Stealth in the federal record. On certain 1991 Stealth R/T Turbo cars, a campaign of 2,700 vehicles, oil could seep from the all-wheel-drive transfer case, and the bearings could then fail and lock the driveline at highway speed; a C-ring or new case was the fix. Certain cars could also crack a front wheel-side brake hose at full steering lock and full suspension travel, leaking fluid and weakening braking; revised hoses went on. Certain cars with belts from a particular supplier had front buckle release buttons that could break and jam.
