Known issues on the 1992 Stealth. For the 1992 Stealth, the federal record shows two recall campaigns. Certain 1992 Stealth cars with all-wheel drive could leak oil from the transfer case, and running low could damage its bearings and lock the driveline; dealers checked for leaks and serviced or replaced the case. On certain cars, turning to full lock with the suspension at full travel could crack a front brake hose at the wheel end, leaking fluid and reducing stopping power; revised hoses were fitted. Complaints number 92, with the power train at 49, seat belts 22, air bags 10, engine and engine cooling 8 and hydraulic brakes 4. Of these, 2 reported a crash, 1 a fire, 1 an injury and 2 a death.
