1986 Ford LTL9000 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1986 Ford LTL9000 covers five diesels, two of them new to the list: the turbocharged 10.0L inline-six (611 cu in) and the 7.0L inline-six (426 cu in). They join the turbocharged 14.0L (855 cu in) and 14.6L (893 cu in) inline-sixes and the 9.0L V6 (552 cu in). Three body styles are offered, the long-conventional straight truck, the low-tilt straight truck and the long-conventional tractor truck, in Base trim. The smaller inline-sixes broaden the 1986 procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics to engines well below the two largest.
