Known issues on the 1983 LTL9000. The 1983 LTL9000 carries one recall on federal record, concerning the steering gear. The steering shaft may have been inadequately lubricated, and the shaft assembly could separate without warning as a result. NHTSA has no owner complaints logged for the year.
