1983 Ford LT9000 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1983 Ford LT9000 adds a tractor to the lineup: the medium-conventional chassis is now listed as both a tractor truck and a straight truck, in Base trim. The five diesels carry over unchanged, so the 9.3L V8 (568 cu in), the 9.0L V6 (552 cu in), the 7.0L inline-six (426 cu in) and the two turbocharged inline-sixes, 14.6L (893 cu in) and 14.0L (855 cu in), all appear, and the manual's procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics now have to distinguish the tractor from the straight truck as well as one engine from another.
