Known issues on the 2025 Grand Cherokee. Five recalls are on federal record for the 2025 Grand Cherokee. Three affect the 4xe plug-in hybrid: a hybrid control processor software error that may cause a loss of drive power, a high-voltage battery that may fail internally and start a fire while parked or driving, and debris inside the engine that may cause engine failure. The other two cover an occupant restraint controller software error that may delay side air bag deployment, and tire pressure monitoring software that may fail to warn of low tire pressure.
