Known issues on the 2007 Grand Cherokee. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year: an antilock and traction-control brake fault that can cause a loss of vehicle control and a crash without warning; a suspension condition that can cause a loss of effective lift and lowering of the vehicle; a four-wheel-drive transfer case that can shift into neutral and let the vehicle roll away, raising the risk of a crash or injury; and an exterior lighting fault whose decreased visibility can result in a crash. Owners have filed 1,478 complaints and Jeep has issued 37 technical service bulletins for the year.
