On certain vehicles the trailer hitch assembly bolts could be loose, so towing might upset handling or let the trailer separate; dealers inspect, tighten or replace the bolts. Certain vehicles may carry C-pillar trim and rear door window bars whose adhesive did not bond fully, letting them detach, and certain others have second-row outer seat belt anchor bolts that may not be secured.
