Known issues on the 2023 Aviator. There are 16 recalls on record for the 2023 Aviator. On certain vehicles the trim at the C-pillar and the rear door window division bars may not have bonded properly and could come off while driving, creating a road hazard; dealers repair or replace the pieces. Certain vehicles could suffer a low-pressure fuel pump failure that stalls the engine, addressed with a powertrain software update. The easy-entry switch on certain vehicles could also bind and let a second-row outer seat move unexpectedly. The 29 complaints are led by the electrical system (10), engine (7), back over prevention (5) and forward collision avoidance (5); 2 complaints reported a crash.
