Known issues on the 2023 Suburban. Three recalls appear on the federal record. One concerns rear suspension outer control arm bolts that were not properly heat-treated and can break, throwing the rear wheel out of alignment. Another covers connecting rod or crankshaft defects in the 6.2L gasoline V8 that can progress to engine failure. The third involves daytime running lights that stay lit with the headlights on and glare at oncoming traffic. Engine complaints dominate the 119 on record, at 50, ahead of the power train at 13 and the electrical system at 11.
