Known issues on the 2022 911. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the dashboard console, which can break during a crash with passenger air bag deployment and cause the air bag to deploy improperly. The second covers the front windshield, which may not be properly secured and can detach, leaving the front air bags without the support they need during deployment. The third covers the center lock wheel bolt, which can fracture and let a wheel detach, resulting in a loss of vehicle control. The fourth covers the rearview camera, whose image may fail to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse, reducing the driver's view behind the car. No complaints and no technical service bulletins are logged for the year.
From a wheel-bolt torque check to a rearview camera diagnostic or a routine service interval, this manual keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2022 911.
