Known issues on the 2022 Durango. Seven recalls are recorded for the 2022 Durango, one of them because certain vehicles had a software fault in the antilock brake module that could switch off stability control; 211,581 vehicles were covered, and dealers updated the software. In certain 2022 Durango vehicles, the shifter assembly was not heat-treated properly and might not stay in drive, causing a sudden loss of drive power; dealers replaced the shifter. Certain vehicles could have an under-hardened steering rack bar that might bind inside the gear. Owners lodged 56 complaints, 25 about exterior lighting and 11 about the electrical system.
