2021 Porsche Panamera Service and Repair Manual
Porsche sold the 2021 Panamera across more drivetrain and body combinations than the single nameplate suggests, from the turbocharged 2.9L V6 (CSZB and CSZC, or DGPA and DGPB in plug-in hybrid form) up to the 4.0L V8 (CVDE, DTCA, and the hybrid CVDF), in hatchback, Executive and Sport Turismo bodies. Those letter codes are the ones stamped on the engine, and they are what separates one 2021 Panamera’s clearances, capacities and tightening figures from another’s, so a value that fits a V6 Sport Turismo will not necessarily fit a V8.

Known issues on the 2021 Panamera. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. The first covers the rear seat belt retractors: the seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly, and an unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash. The second covers the front suspension, where the front lower trailing arms were not forged correctly and may break; a broken front lower trailing arm may cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash. The third covers the electrical system: humidity may enter the external coolant pump for the climate control system and cause an electrical short circuit, and an electrical short circuit increases the risk of a vehicle fire. Owners have filed 2 complaints against the 2021 Panamera.
From a trailing arm inspection to the climate control coolant pump or a rear belt retractor check, the figures that apply are Porsche’s own for the 2021 Panamera rather than a number carried across from an adjacent model year.
