Known issues on the 2021 G550. Seven recalls cover certain 2021 G550 vehicles. In certain vehicles the fuel pump could shut down and cut drive power. Rear seat belt retractors on certain vehicles could leave their locking mode too soon, so a child seat might not stay secured. Two recalls involve rear door latches that on certain vehicles might not engage or release properly, one of them limited to certain vehicles fitted with a replacement latch during service or an earlier recall repair. On certain vehicles the front axle harness could rub against an oil cooler, disabling anti-lock brakes and stability control.
