Known issues on the 2014 G550. The 2014 G550 carries three recalls covering certain vehicles. On certain examples the steering coupling may not have been tightened enough, so the connection could wear until steering was lost; dealers were to replace the coupling. Certain vehicles had control units updated with the wrong software configuration during a service repair, which could cause lost drive power, dimmer exterior lights or the loss of stability and traction control. The third corrects emergency call software on certain vehicles that could report an inaccurate location. One owner complaint is recorded for this year.
