The first covers the rear seat belt retractors, which may deactivate early and prevent a child restraint system from securing properly, increasing the risk of injury during a crash. The second covers the tires: a required rear axle alignment inspection tied to an earlier recall may not have been performed, and the resulting misalignment can cause premature or uneven tire wear and increase the risk of a crash. The third covers the rear wiring harness, which can be missing anti-abrasion protection near the spare wheel well, risking wire damage in a rear crash that disables the exterior door releases and hazard lights, increasing the risk of injury. The fourth covers the rear axle trailing arm lock nut, which may break from stress corrosion and misalign the axle, causing a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash. The fifth covers the rearview camera display, which can go blank on a software issue, reducing rear visibility and increasing the risk of a crash while backing up.
