The first covers the tires: a rear axle misalignment can cause premature or uneven tire wear, raising the risk of a crash. The second covers the tail lights, where a missing anti-abrasion layer on the rear wiring harness can let the wires chafe through in a rear-end crash, disabling the outside door handles and killing the hazard lights. The third covers the rear non-powered axle assembly: a lock nut on the trailing arm can break from stress corrosion, misaligning the axle and causing a loss of control. The fourth covers the seats, where a faulty connection between the seat heater and the Passenger Occupant Detection System can make the software wrongly disable the passenger air bag.
