Known issues on the 2015 A5 Quattro. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year, and all three trace back to the same 2.0L Turbo FSI cooling system. Two separate recalls cover the electric coolant pump, which can become blocked with debris or short-circuit from internal moisture, causing it to overheat and increasing the risk of a fire. The third covers the auxiliary heater's electrical connector, where contact corrosion can cause the heater wires to overheat or melt, also increasing fire risk.
