Known issues on the 2015 A5 Quattro. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year, and all three trace back to the same 2.0L Turbo FSI cooling system. Two separate recalls cover the electric coolant pump, which can become blocked with debris or short-circuit from internal moisture, causing it to overheat and increasing the risk of a fire. The third covers the auxiliary heater's electrical connector, where contact corrosion can cause the heater wires to overheat or melt, also increasing fire risk. Owners have filed 9 complaints for the year, and no technical service bulletins are logged. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind the cooling system and heater wiring are here.
Whether you're chasing an overheating coolant pump, inspecting the auxiliary heater wiring, or working through a routine service interval, it keeps you on the OEM procedure and the correct specification for your specific 2015 A5 Quattro.
