Known issues on the 2019 Crosstrek. NHTSA lists 7 recalls for the 2019 Crosstrek. Certain vehicles could have the ignition coil left energized by the engine control module after the engine was off, shorting the coil and possibly causing a stall. On certain cars, bolts holding the rear stabilizer bracket could work loose and fall out. Certain vehicles with dual-mode locking rear seat belts, a recall covering 4862 vehicles, had a webbing sensor that might not lock in a multiple-impact crash. Of 284 complaints, visibility and wipers account for 113 and the electrical system 53; 6 reported a crash, 3 a fire and 4 an injury. Diagnostics and torque values for these systems are included.
