Known issues on the 2017 Crosstrek. On the 2017 Crosstrek, federal records show 1 recall, and it involves the switch that tells the car the brake pedal is pressed. On certain vehicles, contaminants reaching that switch can stop the brake lights from coming on, leave keyless-ignition models unable to start, and keep CVT or automatic transmissions from leaving Park.
