The contact owns a 2019 Lexus GX460. While the contact’s wife was driving and exiting the driveway at the residence, the driver’s and passenger’s side side-view mirrors became distorted with crinkle-like lines. HELLO, MY CAR IS TILTED TO THE RIGHT WHEN TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY. ALSO TILTED A LOT WHEN I TURN LEFT. THIS IS NOT NORMAL BECAUSE MY OTHER CARS DON'T BEHAVE LIKE THAT. I BROUGHT TO LEXUS DEALER BUT WAS INFORMED THE CAR IS NORMAL. HOWEVER, I NEED NTSB TO CHECK BECAUSE I DON'T FEEL SAFE WITH THIS CAR. NOTE: I THINK THIS IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT BECAUSE THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE WHO COMPLAINED ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THE SAME PROBLEM.
LEXUS KEEP SENDING US A RECALL NOTICE (NO 20V682) BUT WITH REMEDY NOT AVAILABLE. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A YEAR WERE WE ARE TOLD OUR CAR MIGHT STALL DURING DRIVING. MY LEASE WILL EXPIRE THIS DECEMBER AND I AM STILL DRIVING A CAR THAT I AM TOLD IS NOT SAFE. I HAVE BEEN AVOIDING LONG TRIP WITH THE CAR FOR THIS REASON. LEXUS NEED TO COME UP WITH A REMEDY AND COMPENSATE THE CURRENT OWNER/LESSEE. MY CAR DID NOT STALL YET BUT HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DRIVE A CAR YOU ARE TELLING ME IT MIGHT STALL.
MY VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH A LOW PRESSURE FUEL PUMP WHICH MAY STOP OPERATING WHILE IN MOTION AND WILL CAUSE A CRASH. I AM UNABLE TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE WITH MY WIFE AND TWO CHILDREN. THIS IS A MAJOR LEXUS/TOYOTA RECALL WITH NO REMEDY AVAILABLE.
