Known issues on the 2013 GX 460. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year, and all three land on the same part: the frontal passenger-side air bag inflator module. In each campaign the hazard is identical, an inflator explosion that may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death. One of the three is a follow-up action covering vehicles whose driver or passenger frontal air bag inflators had already been replaced under an earlier recall using inflators of the same design, and those inflators may explode. Another covers 2013 GX 460s, along with other Toyota and Lexus models, sold, or ever registered, in the states and territories that recall designates as "Zone A," and it also covers a separate group of 2010 models registered in a further set of states. Consequence
An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
Remedy
Toyota will notify owners. Depending on the vehicle model, dealers will replace the front passenger air bag inflator, or replace the air bag assembly. The recall began February 15, 2019. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are "Zone A" Toyota: G0P, Lexus: GLG; "Zone B" Toyota: G0R, Lexus GLH; "Zone C" Toyota: H0A, and Lexus: HLA.

Depending on the vehicle model, dealers will replace the front driver inflator, front passenger airbag inflator, the airbag assembly, or the front passenger airbag sub-assembly and inflator. The recall began November 20, 2019. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-888-270-9371 or Lexus customer service at 1-800-255-3987. Toyota's numbers for this recall are J0A, J0B, and J0C. THE LEXUS IS EQUIPPED WITH FACTORY INSTALLED TOWING PACKAGE. AS THE AIRSTREAM TRAILER IS WIDER THAN THE LEXUS TOWING MIRRORS ARE REQUIRED BY LAW. AFTER DRIVING IT FOR A DAY, IT SEEMED AS IF I HAD A FLAT TIRE ON THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE BECAUSE THE HOOD SEEMED LOWER ON THE PASSENGER SIDE AS I WAS DRIVING. I was driving on I4 Orlando FL and the vehicle just stalled. Almost got into an accident. The vehicle stopped on the middle of highway, the whole traffic stopped. No issues where noticed before the incident. No loss of power before or after the incident: The car was diagnosed by the dealership and the fuel pump is bad. Vehicle has roughly 130K miles.
FRONT BUMPER DETACHES FROM BODY, THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT OFFERED ANY REMEDY. I HAVE SEEN THIS ON MULTIPLE VEHICLES OF THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL.
