This factory service and repair manual for the 2019 Chevrolet Volt documents the last year of the car, still an LT or Premier four-door hatchback with the 1.5L inline-four plug-in hybrid of 91 cubic inches, DOHC, naturally aspirated, gasoline. Being the final year, it is also the most settled: the procedures, specifications and torque values here describe hardware refined across the generation, and the wiring diagrams show the propulsion, charging and body circuits as they stood at the end of production.

Known issues on the 2019 Volt. Two recalls apply. In the first, rear brake caliper pistons with insufficient coating can trap gas pockets and reduce the braking effort reaching the rear wheels. In the second, a second- or third-row seat belt retractor may not lock when the belt is drawn fully out, leaving a child seat loose in a crash. Owner complaints are few for this year, 34 in all, with 16 on the power train, eight on the electrical system and one on the seats.
