In one, a brake pressure modulator valve can fail to release pressure at the front brakes during an anti-lock, stability or traction event, so a front brake stays locked, steering control suffers and the stopping distance stretches. In the other, a car left switched on can drain its battery until the engine restarts on its own to recharge, which is dangerous in an enclosed space. Complaints run to 245: 79 on the electrical system, 77 on air bags and 20 on the power train.
