Known issues on the 2019 A7 Sportback. Six recalls are on federal record for this model year. The passenger air bag score line may not have been manufactured correctly, risking improper deployment and ejected debris in a crash. A fuel level sender can stick and display an inaccurate reading, raising the chance of an engine stall from unexpected fuel loss. Liquid spilled in the rear seat can penetrate and shut down the gateway control module, suddenly cutting engine power. An incorrectly labeled brake fluid cap may lead to the wrong brake fluid being used, reducing braking ability. A software error can prevent the rearview camera image from displaying, cutting the driver's view behind the vehicle. A related software error can also leave the lane departure warning system deactivated without the driver's knowledge. Consequence
An incorrectly manufactured air bag may not deploy properly, and could also eject plastic debris into the passenger compartment, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Remedy
