2018 Ram 1500 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2018 Ram 1500 covers sixteen trims on standard cab, extended cab and crew cab pickups. Known issues on the 2018 1500. The federal record puts the 2018 1500 at 15 recalls. A defect in manufacture could cause the curtain air bag inflators on certain trucks to burst, sending sharp fragments toward occupants; replacement curtain air bags, where needed, were the fix. On certain diesel V6 trucks, the crankshaft position sensor tone wheel could come apart in layers, leaving the engine unable to time fuel injection and prone to stalling. Of the 660 owner complaints, the electrical system accounts for 159, the engine 110 and steering 86, and 25 complaints reported a crash.
