The contact owns a 2016 Lexus LS. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle crashed into the rear end of a commercial truck. I PURCHASED LEXUS LS460 AWD 2016 IN 01/2017. FEW MONTHS AGO THE NOISE LEVEL IN THE CABIN BECAME TOO LOUD EVEN TO HEAR THE RADIO. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE LEXUS DEALER WHO SOLD THE CAR TO ME FOR CHECK UP. I ASKED THEM TO USE A DECBEL METER TO READ THE NOISE LEVEL. INSTEAD THEY SENT A TECHNICIAN TO DRIVE THE CAR AND HE SAID THAT THE NOISE WAS COMING FROM TIRES. IF THAT WAS THE CASE I ASKED THEM TO CHANGE ALL THE TIRES (I AGREED TO PAY). On march 17, 2022, I purchased 4-Michelin CrossClimate2 car tires (245/45R19/XL 102V) for my Lexus LS460. From the attached photos you can see how soft the rubber is as tested with a Durometer Meter reading of 54 compared to 64.5 Meter on the replaced Michelin Radial MXV.4 tire. Never had a single problem with the MXV.4 tires. Those tires came with the Lexus and had a hard rubber ridge just above the rim which protects these tires from damage. Electronic Power Steering System Failure. Currently at Dealership for repair. Loss of steering while driving could have caused serious harm.
