The first covers the gasoline fuel delivery system, specifically the hoses, lines, piping and fittings: due to anti-corrosion plating remnants, fuel may leak from where the fuel pressure sensor is attached to the fuel delivery pipe, and a fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. The second covers the engine itself, where micro-foreign objects in the material of the valve spring may degrade the strength of the valve spring, possibly causing the spring to break, so the engine could fail and stop suddenly while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash.
