Known issues on the 2013 SL65 AMG. The federal record holds two recalls for the 2013 SL65 AMG. On certain cars, a software fault could put the emergency call system's clock out of step, so a crash alert might report the wrong location. On certain cars built from mid-January through April 2013, the passenger seat sensing could miss a very light occupant and switch off the passenger side air bag; dealers replaced the seat cushion and its sensor. Separately, NHTSA filed one recall against the 2013 SL-Class line, covering certain vehicles built from December 2011 through May 2012 and originally equipped with R1234yf refrigerant, which could ignite if a refrigerant line ruptured in a severe frontal crash.
