Known issues on the 2009 SL65 AMG. A single NHTSA recall was filed against the 2009 SL-Class line. It covered certain vehicles that had been given the wrong software calibration coding during a workshop visit, which could stop the electric fuel pump from getting the crash signal it relies on to shut off fuel after an impact. Dealers corrected the coding. For the fuel pump circuit, the crash-signal wiring and control unit coding involved, the manual supplies wiring diagrams, diagnostics, procedures and specifications.
