Known issues on the 2007 SL65 AMG. NHTSA filed one recall against certain 2007 R230-chassis models fitted with Active Body Control acceleration sensors on the front struts. Imperfect soldering on the sensor circuit boards could send differing readings, so one front strut would compensate for body movement while the other did not. Dealers inspected the sensors and replaced them where necessary. A single complaint against the 2007 SL-Class line concerns the power train. Suspension and power train procedures, specifications and wiring diagrams in the manual cover these systems.
