Known issues on the 2011 S550. The federal record lists two recalls for the 2011 S550. Certain cars built between mid-April and mid-July 2011 could have a fuel filter flange, flawed in molding, that cracks in high heat and leaks fuel, a fire risk if something ignites it; dealers fitted a new filter. Certain cars built from early March to the end of July 2011 had a tire pressure monitor whose warning, with all four wheel sensors faulty or missing, would not return after a restart.
