Known issues on the 2011 ML63 AMG. Brakes and the driver air bag are where the 2011 ML63 AMG's three recalls concentrate. A pair of campaigns addressed certain vehicles whose brake booster housing could corrode once moisture got inside, with a real chance of reduced braking; owners were instructed not to drive until repaired, and dealers removed a rubber sleeve to examine the booster. The remaining recall involved certain vehicles with a driver frontal air bag inflator that might rupture on deployment and project metal fragments.
