The 2007 ML63 AMG appears by name in two recalls, both about moisture that could gather in the brake booster housing of certain vehicles and corrode it until braking weakened or failed; owners were told not to drive until the booster had been inspected. Separately, NHTSA filed three recalls against the 2007 M-Class line, including one for certain vehicles fitted with a Flex-N-Gate trailer hitch whose welds joining the receiver to its mounting bar fell short, so the receiver could break away.
