Known issues on the 2008 ML63 AMG. Certain 2008 ML63 AMG vehicles fall under two recalls of their own, which address corrosion inside the brake booster housing caused by moisture, and those owners were instructed to leave the vehicle undriven until repaired. Separately, NHTSA filed three recalls against the 2008 M-Class line. One concerned certain vehicles whose power steering oil-pressure driving pin could break during a turn and remove hydraulic assist; another concerned certain vehicles given incorrect software calibration coding at a workshop visit, which could keep the fuel pump from getting its shutoff signal after a crash. The 2008 ML63 AMG's two owner complaints cite the gasoline fuel system and hydraulic service brakes. Steering, brake and fuel pump wiring diagrams are included.
