Known issues on the 2010 Milan. The federal record for this year carries eight recalls. Six involve frontal air bag inflators: propellant degraded by heat and humidity can rupture the inflator and scatter metal fragments, and one of those covers a replacement passenger bag whose mounting bracket can keep it from inflating as intended. Another describes a fuel vapor canister purge valve that may not open, letting tank pressure rise until the tank cracks and leaks. The last covers anti-lock brake valves that may not close properly. Complaints reach 1,061, led by steering at 263, the power train at 137 and speed control at 113.
